SQUIGGLY - Spellchecker for FLEX

Adobe Labs had released preview version of spellchecker for FLEX codenamed SQUIGGLY.

According to the info on the page: 'Squiggly is a spell checking engine for Adobe® Flash® Player and Adobe AIR®. The Squiggly library allows you to easily add spell checking functionality in any Flex 3 based text control. The distribution package consists of a utility for building your own spelling dictionaries, a sample English dictionary, an Action Script package that checks individual words for spelling accuracy, and sample code that demonstrates “check as you type” functionality'

Top 10 regular phrases of a DEVELOPER

(I found some funny msg post on net.. just thought of sharing)

1.- WTF!

The most repeated sentence in code reviews…

2.- It works in my machine!

We all have used this one when blamed for some error…

3.- D’oh!

- Hi Homer, have you removed the debug code from production?


4.- It will be ready tomorrow.

The problem with this sentence is that we use it again the next day, and the next day, and the next day…

5.- Have you tried turning it off and on again?

The TV series ”The It Crowd” have helped to make this one even more popular…

Why do we keep asking why?

- It restarts twice a day?!! Well that makes sure that the temporary files get deleted!
